About Blogart

I publish ten to fifteen Blogart posts a year about travel, culture, thoughts and photographs I’ve made. I named my camera, Nola in honor of my home town, New Orleans. Over the years, I’ve had a number of cameras stolen. Hoping to discourage would be thieves I decided to cover the camera manufacturer’s name (Leica) and logo with black electrician’s tape. Sometime ago I switched to black label tape and her name, Nola. I’m always amazed when people say they never heard of that brand of camera. Wherever I travel, I roll with Nola.
